Enroute while travelling from Colombo to Kandy we will Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage & Spice Garden. Volunteers and caretakers provide shelter and take care of orphaned, abandoned and injured elephants within the park. You can watch caretakers feed, bathe and help these gentle giants. You want walk with the herd to the nearby river to watch the elephants bathe and play around in water. Spice Gardens shapes a key fascination with Sri Lanka. The nation is well known over the world for its uncommon accumulation of spices and herbs. The key fascination of this area is to investigate the famous and additionally the unusual herbs being are prepared in the most stunning way. A Brief History of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a world-renowned place of worship, where the left Canine tooth of Gautama Buddha is enshrined. The temple which is venerated by thousands of local & foreign devotees and tourists daily was named as a world heritage by UNESCO in 1988. The temple which carries a lot of value to Buddhists all over the world also has immense cultural value. The architecture is of unique Kandyan architectural style with a combination of the unique style used to build “Dalada Mandira” the shrines which housed the Sacred Tooth Relic previously in other kingdoms.Dress Code for Temple: Wear clothes that cover your legs and your shoulders, and remove your shoes outside the temple. Proceed to Bentota (approx time is 5 Hours)

Bentota is the city of the Golden Beaches. You will be able to relax and feel the spirit of the sea and the warmth of the soft sand. On arrival, you can opt for optional excursions such as Madu River Ride, Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery or Water-Sports at Bentota Beach.

After enjoying your breakfast, proceed to the airport for your return flight. Enroute we will do Colombo City Tour (time permitting). Colombo – a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street – the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749.
